Objectives

- Preservation and promotion of the "cante" alentejano

- Preservation of the customs and traditions of the district of Castro Verde

- Keeping alive the choirs of "cante" alentejano

- Organization of initiatives, individually or in cooperation with other institutions, for the preservation and promotion of the "cante" alentejano

- Affiliation in national and international organizations in order to fulfil the objectives and aims of the Association

Membership

All the interested in membership should write to the association and await information about the two membership modalities: full member and contributor.
